When my daughter was about seven, she came home from school one day and loudly announced that the school was offering a class with guitar lessons and that she wanted to learn to play guitar. "Like Daddy does." Well, of course, that made me as proud as a peacock, so I thought about what to get her. I couldn't give her a dreadnaught- heck, you wouldn't be able to see her behind it and after a bit of thought, I went out and bought her a Baby Taylor. It was perfect.

Now, in the back of my mind, I knew what was probably going to happen: She was going to play until her fingertips got sore and then quit like a million other kids do, so I was hoping that by getting the Baby, I could at least get my money back out of it. But, the young lass surprised me and actually got to the point where her fingers were no longer sore and she could change chords in a fairly respectable manner. Once again, I was the proud peacock dad. Then, she discovered soccer and the guitar was put into the corner of her bedroom.

I walked by that Taylor in the corner for a couple of weeks before pulling it out. When I laid hands on it, I discovered it had a nice sound and was a good bit of fun to play, so I kept it for about half a year before selling it and moving on down the road to a full-sized acoustic.

That brings us to this BT2. I got it at the Orlando Guitar show and as soon as I saw it, well you know- it brought back those memories of my daughter being little and ponies and rainbows and flowers and stuff... Anyway, I bought it and it plays and sounds just as good as the one I had oh so many years ago. It doesn't display any signs of playwear and is in near-mint condition. The original soft case and paperwork are also included, so it's a complete package.

It's a lot of fun for not a lot of money so please take a look at the pictures, let us know if you have any questions and as always, we thank you for stopping by!
