1988 Rickenbacker 1998 PT Fireglo
This reissue model in honor of Pete Townshend of the WHO was designed with input by Pete and is the first guitar to be reissued by Rickenbacker. It is modeled on a Rose Morris model 1998 with some modifications, such as the "R" tailpiece. It bears a Pete Townshend signature logo on the top pickguard and comes with a certificate of authentication (COA) signed by John hall, CEO of Rickenbacker. Only 250 models were made, of which this one is #193. I have owned this guitar in my private collection for over 30 years. A collector's dream guitar!
