This is a super cool Orville FV-65 Flying V that plays and sounds great! This one was produced in the Terada Factory and was available exclusively for the Japanese domestic market. The guitar is comprised of a mahogany body and neck with a dark rosewood fretboard. The body is super lightweight and the neck profile is true to the slim '60s feel.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear that includes light surface scratches and scuffs throughout the body and small dings located on the points. The back of the neck and headstock also have some minor scuffs as well. The hardware and pickups are starting to show some light tarnish from over time and the tops of the volume/tone knobs appear to have fallen off. The frets are used but still in nice shape and the electronics work as they should. Overall, this guitar appears to have been really well-maintained over the years!
This guitar is all original.
