This is a super cool 1990 Orville by Gibson Ex Explorer made exclusively for the Japanese market! This guitar is equipped with USA pickups and has a solid mahogany body with a '60s "C" shape neck profile.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and chips all throughout the body with additional wear along the back of the neck and headstock. The gold hardware and pickups have also tarnished from over time and the neck pickup ring has a couple of cracks in the corners. The frets do have some wear but still play well with medium action and with slight relief in the neck. The truss rod turns both ways and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar appears to be all original.
