I bought this guitar from BIRELI LAGRENE in early 2001...sold it..bought it back..sold it.. and now it's back in my life for the third time.. three piece maple neck with ebony fingerboard..laminated rosewood back and sides solid cedar top... outfitted with a set of DR tuners and tailpiece.. over the course of it's life, it was refretted, and shows signs of a light overspray.. it has the Jacques label with his signature.. he was "retired" but would come to the workshop once a week to lend a hand to Jean Pierre and Ugo.. this is a perfect example of their work in great shape..no cracks anywhere..playability ..tone..sustain..reverb..volume.. a great guitar that needs nothing but to be played..
