There are two types of operational amplifier ICs: an early type that is small and lightweight, and a later type that is large and heavy. The RC4558P (a.k.a. Malaysian Chip) equipped product has a wider range and edge than the JRC4558D and TL4558P products, with clear contours, strong lows, and extended highs. It has a strong sense of compression, and sometimes when you play chords, you can feel a little bit of a raspy sound. It has a dynamic and heavy sound. This product is a MP-DO1201A board with model name hyphen, maker's name R mark, and DC jack without nut. This is the original overdrive model that has been immensely popular even in recent years and is known to be very difficult to obtain. You can't get a better "real sound" than this!
