Description
Summary: The Ibanez AM93 electric guitar gives you the best of both worlds, the warmth and resonance of a semi-hollow body and the compact handling ease of a solid body. The AM93's distinctive double cutaway makes for easy access to the 22 frets set into this guitar's bound ebony fingerboard that has pearl block inlays. The AM93 sports a quilt maple top and quilt ash back and sides and is dressed in gold hardware.
Body: Quilted Maple top with Quilted Ash back/sides, semi-hollow.
Neck: 3-piece Nyatoh/Maple with a bound Ebony fingerboard, 24.7” scale length, 1.692” nut width, 12” radius, 22 frets, pearl block inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Super 58 Alnico humbuckers, Gibraltar Performer Bridge with Quik Change III Tailpiece, Ibanez Die-cast tuning keys, 2x volume/2x tone controls/3-way pickup selector.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches throughout. The pickguard has regular wear. The gold hardware has started to tarnish a little (See Photos Please). The back of the neck is clean and smooth and the frets are in great shape.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
