Description

This 1960 Harmony Roy Smeck H-7208 is in very good condition. This instrument shows signs of age and play wear throughout but is overall in very nice cosmetic condition without any significant dings, scratches or dents (see photos). The plastic Roy Smeck logo is missing from the peghead face and the bottom corner of the white truss rod cover is chipped. The bridge is replaced and the finish has been removed from the back of the neck. This guitar has a very nice feeling medium chunky rounded neck profile that is comfortable and easy to play. The frets have been dressed and are in excellent condition with lots of the life left. This instrument has been professionally set up and it plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. This guitar is a fantastic player that doesn’t buzz or fret out. The original electronics are in excellent working order and both original pickups sound really great! This guitar excels for fingerstyle blues, quirky hillbilly pickin' and reverb drenched soundscapes. This would make a tremendous instrument for anyone looking for a great playing and sounding, vibe laden 63 year old Harmony guitar to use for live performance or in the studio.
