2010 Hamer Monaco Red

Trans Red, carved spruce top hollowbody, excellent condition. Willie’s was a huge dealer of USA made Hamers back in the era before imports diluted the Brand to…meh. Willie used to hang around the original vintage guitar/Hamer guitar early days on Green Bay Road and while working at Sound Post in the Chicago area ordered many custom shop Hamer guitars. Steve our head luthier worked in the Hamer Custom shop too. So we have a soft spot for them.

This guitar was made during the Kaman Music era. These have an interesting tone with a carved spruce top and two F holes, two volume and one master tone control. Other features include 24 3/4” scale, mahogany body and neck, bound rosewood fretboard with cool inlays, medium sized neck with slight V that tapers out at the 12th fret like most 50’s Gibsons. Comes with the original hard case and hang tags.
