Here's a 1974 Guild D-55 in Natural finish. 100% original example. 1 owner, near mint! No breaks, cracks, repairs. First introduced in 1968 as a special-order top-of-the-line model, the D-55 was so well-received that Guild added it into the regular production line by 1974. This is the real deal (and not the new 70th Anniversary model they're doing). Spruce top, gorgeous Rosewood back and sides, with an Ebony fingerboard, full body and neck binding, and fancy Guild inlays. The guitar sounds like a piano! Full, balanced, with big projection. Playability is exceptional! Buttery low action from top to bottom. Frets are in great shape. This beauty aged to perfection. Mint OHSC included!
