ミンコレ初期のEG59-70!!
1971年にEG-360の開発からGibsonコピーモデルの製造を行っていたGrecoは、国産コピーモデル市場の激化に伴い、1970年代後半に更なる進化を遂げた”Super Real Series”を世に放ちます。 Super Real Seriesは「品質工場のためであれば、なんでも好きに変更して構わない」という信念の元に作られ、資材/木工/金工の全てを見直されます。 そうして開発されたSuper Real Seriesは、国内外問わず人気を博します。 1982年にはマイナーチェンジが行われMint Collectionが登場、クルーソンペグを完全再現した自社製ペグやネックジョイントの変更など、更にオリジナルに近づける進化を遂げます。
今回入荷したEG59-70はヘッドロゴにSuper Realと記載が無く、ロッドカバーも角張ったスタイルのものに変更されたミンコレ初期の個体。
ネックジョイントはL.A.C(Large Area Contact Joint)ジョイントを採用しています。
ピックアップにはDOUBLE TRICKを搭載、リアピックアップでは国産らしいタイトなハムバッカーサウンド、フロントではまろやかなジャジーなトーンを出す事が出来、各ポジションでの使い分けがしやすいサウンドキャラクターになっています。
Grecoの歴史を語る上で外す事が出来ない貴重なモデルです！
