1927 Gibson TB-5 Tenor Banjo

A scarce Gibson TB-5 Tenor Banjo in excellent, used and largely original condition.

A walnut banjo with colorful marquetry, engraved and gold-plated hardware

and the Famous Wreathe Pearl Pattern.

40-Hole Arch-Top Tone-Ring.

The replacement tailpiece bracket is original period Gibson, but nickel-plated.

There's one gold washer and one gold nut which have been replaced. One of the Resonator thumb-screws is

a post-war replacement.

Old re-fret and binding repair.
