This guitar is in excellent condition showing limited playing time.
The Gibson SJ-100 Super Jumbo acoustic-electric guitar is an instrument with a massive sound and a classic style. Its tone is jumbo indeed, owing to its all solid-wood design. The North American Sitka spruce top is bright and responsive, with a remarkable amount of overtone and color. The Bubinga back and sides further shape its distinct tone, while lending the guitar a huge degree of durability and resilience. The L R Baggs pickup system adds to the performance capabilities of this beautiful instrument.
Most know that the Gibson Super Jumbo appeared in 1938 and has been in and out of production many times over the decades. Since 1989 all Gibson acoustics are built in Bozeman, MT.
