Extremely rare rosewood version of the Roy Smeck Hawaiian lap-style guitar with a natural finish; this is the first one I've played that hadn't been pieced together. It's in excellent original condition, converted with a new neck by Alan Perlman and the original neck included. These are Gibson's first Jumbos, and are thus valued for the unusual combination of big body and extremely light construction, resulting in a more responsive and fuller tone. This one is in fabulous co0ndition, the new nut is a drop wider than 1 ⅞". The original neck is beautiful, with its high nut, flush inlayed frets, extreme fretboard radius and perfect condition.
Our "Cash price" policy: unfortunately, the credit card companies support "swiped" charges in which the card is physically run through the card reader. Phone-in charges are charged at a much higher rate (to the seller) which can take quite a big chunk out of a high-dollar sale. Thus, for those call-in sales, let's discuss the issue at the time; hopefully, we can figure some way to deal with it.
