This 1956 Gibson Les Paul Custom "Black Beauty" is a legendary and highly collectible guitar, revered for its timeless craftsmanship and vintage tone. Constructed with a solid mahogany body and neck, and an ebony fingerboard with L-P 7-ply binding, this guitar delivers an exceptional playing experience that lives up to the legacy of the Les Paul name.

Pickups: Original "Staple" neck pickup and P-90 bridge pickup, offering the quintessential vintage Les Paul sound.
Bridge & Tailpiece: Both restored to their original condition. There are 2 touched-up mahogany inserts at the bridge set screws, a result of a previous bridge replacement. Additionally, there are a few screw holes on the top and bottom of the guitar, known as "Snake Bites," from a past Bigsby installation. Despite these modifications, the original bridge and tailpiece have been carefully re-installed, ensuring full functionality.
Electronics: All original and untouched. The guitar features rare CTS and CENTRALAB potentiometers along with "GRAY TIGER" and "BUMBLE BEE" capacitors, reflecting Gibson's transition period in the mid-1950s.
Modifications: The guitar has been refretted, enhancing its playability while preserving its vintage character.
Condition:
This guitar is in very good aesthetic condition, with some signs of wear around the bridge and "Snake Bites" screw holes from the previous Bigsby installation. These are minor marks for a guitar of its age. It has been authenticated by Montreal Guitar and is in perfect playing condition. Comes with its original snakeskin case.
