Summary: The Gibson Les Paul Studio '60s Tribute pays homage to the 1960's Les Paul. Prior to the birth of the humbucking pickup in the mid '50s, the Les Paul came equipped with P-90s (as does the Les Paul Studio '60s Tribute). The P-90 is known for a well-balanced sound, a strong midrange, and the ability to bounce between clean and dirty with varied picking intensity. The '60s Slim Taper neck is fast and player friendly.

Body: Mahogany with a Maple top, Goldtop.

Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, 22 frets, pearl trapezoid inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Two Gibson P90 pickups, tunomatic bridge/stop bar tailpiece, 2x volume/2x tone controls/3-way pickup selector, locking Sperzel tuning keys.

Cosmetics: This guitar has light surface scratches throughout. The back of the body one the edges, some of the finish has worn off down to the wood. The back of the neck has a few chips in the finish. The frets are in great shape. This guitar plays and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Modifications: The tuning keys have been upgraded to Locking Sperzel tuning keys. The pickguard has been removed but included. However, the pickguard has been cracked where the top screw goes.

Weight: 7.355 lbs.
