Gibson / 2012 J-45 STANDARD

The "J-45" is one of Gibson's most famous guitars.
It is a model synonymous with acoustic guitars that has been loved for many years despite many specification changes.

The J-45 Standard made in 2012 is now in stock.
This model is equipped with a small pickguard similar to the ones used in the 1950s, but this one has been replaced with a thicker pickguard similar to the ones used since 1964. The combination of the dark sunburst color and this pickguard is also fresh.

The top Sitka spruce is a very beautiful, tight-grained quarter-sawn wood with a flamed horizontal line. The body side backs are mahogany. Black Tusk is used for the nut, inheriting the traditional J-45 sound, but with specifications unique to recent styles.
The bright and clear sound is a characteristic of this instrument.

There is a crack repair on the lower part of the top 6-string side of the body, but it has been fixed and is in good condition.
The instrument has been tuned to play comfortably so that it can be used as a ready-to-play instrument.

It is equipped with L.R. Baggs Element pickups and is recommended for live performance.

[Playing Condition]
- Neck and wood parts thoroughly inspected and adjusted by acoustic guitar specialist.
- Neck is straight, no chatter or clogging.
- String height at 12th fret: 2.3mm on 6th string side, 1.8mm on 1st string side
- Saddle protrusion: approx. 2.5mm-4mm
- There is a crack repair on the lower part of the 6th string side of the body top (with reinforcement)

- Includes a warranty of adjustment support by a craftsman specializing in acoustic guitars, who has repaired/adjusted approximately 2,000 guitars per year.
- Normally, a maintenance adjustment of 5,500 yen will be performed free of charge.

- Repairs for peeling of adhesive parts such as bracing and bridge due to aging are also available on a priority basis.
