The F-5 is a classic style featuring a scrolled asymmetrical body that has firmly established its position. This masterpiece has now arrived with a supreme tone made of vintage maple, carrying on the tradition of Mr. Lloyd.

The F-5, manufactured by Lloyd Lohr between 1922 and 1924, is a renowned gem. It features superb construction and sound inherited from Mr. Lloyd's manufacturing techniques.

The vintage maple sound is played responsively from all over the body with rich volume. Considering its age, it is in extremely good condition. A must have for bluegrass fans.

This is a gem with brilliant transparency and good resonance in the high frequency range, ample volume and quick response, and excellent overall balance.
