Its trapeze tailpiece gives the strings higher tension than that of a somewhat-standard stop-bar. This makes this guitar a wonderful candidate for lighter gauge strings that might buzz out on a stop-bar. Nevertheless, this 2002 Gibson is ready for a whole new life.
