2014 Gibson Custom Stage Deluxe Ltd 12-Fret Short Scale Vintage Sunburst
If you are looking for an acoustic with real "punch", offered is this wonderful Stage Deluxe built in Gibson's Montana Custom shop in 2014. This guitar was part of a very limited run of instruments (less than 50 I believe) based on the iconic Roy Smeck Stage Deluxe of the 1930's.
The Stage Deluxe has a slightly deeper body which, combined with its 12-fret geometry, its slope shoulder shape and its wide X-bracing give it a powerful, warm voice that few instruments can touch. It has an Adirondack spruce top combined with solid mahogany for the back and sides and a 12-fret clear, short scale (24-3/4") Mahogany neck. It has a lower bout width of 15-7/8" and is 4.85" deep at the tail block.
It gets a Vintage Sunburst nitrocellulous lacquer finish. It is constructed using a dovetail neck to body joint which is hand-fitted with hide glue for maximum energy transfer to the sound board.
The short scale neck is a soft V-shape with a 1.805" nut width that gives it a great vintage feel without being huge. The lovely dark rosewood fret board has a 12" radius and MOP inlays. The tuners are Waverly nickel open backs with Ivoroid caps.
To top things off, Gibson gave this model a premium TranceAudio Amulet MVT pickup system. The system consists of an internal preamp with low-cut filter attached to the Switchcraft endpin jack, internal body sensors along with discretely mounted sound hole-mounted volume and tone controls. Even by today's standards, this is a primo pickup system for playing live or recording.

This 2014 model guitar is in near mint condition with no flaws of any significance, frets included. It comes in its original Gibson hardshell case with the certificate of authenticity and hang tag.

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included.
