This is a limited edition "Tak Matsumoto 1959 Les Paul Aged".
It is a reproduction of a 1959 Les Paul with serial number "9-1156" owned by Takahiro Matsumoto of B’z. It is based on True Historic specs and has been meticulously aged to give it the dignified look of the original instrument. The detailed aged finish gives it the dignified look of the original instrument.
The neck grip, created by analyzing 3D digital scans of the original instrument, is slightly narrower than the standard 2016 model, and Burstbucker #3 pickups are selected for the neck and Custombuckers for the bridge.
Other modifications made by the owner for practical reasons, such as the re-fretted and over-bound frets, the metal jack plate and the locking strap pins, have also been faithfully reproduced.
The neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
