Gibson Custom Shop 2023 Murphy Lab 1959 Les Paul Light Aged
The "1959 Les Paul Light Aged" has been aged by the Murphy Lab team, led by aging expert Tom Murphy.
The second lowest of the four stages of aging in the Murphy Lab collection, the relatively subtle 'Light Aged' finish reproduces the fine weather checks and dents of the edge.
The slightly wider flamed maple is finished in a green lemon fade.
All hide-gluing and parts are carried over from the True Historic series, with vintage tapered pots and bumblebee-type oil capacitors.
The neck is Authentic 59 Medium "C", a shape adopted from 2018, and is very slightly thinner than earlier '59 models.
The pickups are equipped with un-potted Custombucker.
The guitar is in good condition with minimal signs of wear, very little fret wear and no problems with the neck or truss rod.
