Gibson Custom Shop 2023 Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul VOS
This is a "1959 Les Paul VOS" with a beautifully balanced flame maple top.
This one is finished in Dirty Lemon, which recreates the shade of the sunburst as it fades to lemon drop.
The hide-gluing and parts have been carried over from the True Historic series, and the headstock logo shape and silkscreen tint, fingerboard inlay material, vintage taper pots, and bumblebee type oil capacitors have been adopted as 2019 specs.
The neck is Authentic 59 Medium "C", a shape used since 2018 and very slightly thinner than earlier '59 models.
The pickups are equipped with two un-potted Custombucker.
It is in excellent, like-mint condition with almost no signs of wear, no fret wear, and no problems with the neck or truss rod.
