This is the highly acclaimed 1999 "1959 Les Paul Reissue" model.
It was made for the 40th anniversary of the 1959 Les Paul, and is made of flamed maple with flecks in a dark burst finish.
The neck grip is slightly thicker and rounder than the current model, and two 57Classic pickups are installed.
Due to age, the back and sides have faded reddish color, there are several pockmarks and scuffs on the body top, several tiny dents and scratches on the body back, several tiny dents on the body sides, some shallow scratches on the back of the neck, and a tiny dent on the tip of the head.
The frets are not dented, there is about 80% remaining, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
