2017 Limited Run 1959 Les Paul Standard Murphy Paint & Aged Masterpiece
The "Les Paul Standard Figured Top Murphy Painted & Aged A Murphy Masterpiece" was produced in a limited edition of only 120 pieces worldwide.
The body top material was selected, hand painted and aged by Tom Murphy, and the rest of the process was completely supervised by him.
It has a superb flame maple top suited to the name “Masterpiece”, with dark shade rosewood fingerboard, and the original burst arch-top, which made an impression on Tom Murphy when he saw it, has been reproduced using the same double-carving technique as True Historic.
The ABR-1 bridge has an aged finish that replicates the rounded and rusted tips of the saddle, and the cream-plated metal jack plate is equipped. (A True Historic parts jack plate is also included).
The serial number is also exclusive to this series and there is a signature and year stamp in the back cavity.
The pickups are equipped with Custombuckers.
The guitar is in good condition, with little signs of use and almost no fret wear.
It comes with an aged hard case.
