1957 Les Paul Gold Top Dark Back VOS.
The original Gold Top was manufactured from 1952 to 1958. Among them, 1957-1958 Les Paul with PAF for the first time can be said to be the perfection of gold top. By the way, the gold top was changed to the original burst in the middle of 1958.
The 1957 Les Paul Gold Top we have just received is called “Dark Back” and has a dark brown finish on the back. The original vintage Les Paul Gold Top has a dark brown back, while the normal model has a light natural back. The serial number is in a light color ink, which indicates that the color was originally this color, not an ageing effect.
Other specifications are similar to the current 1957 Les Paul Gold Top. The recent Historic Reissues are very high quality and highly appreciated by vintage fans.
This particular one weighs in at 3.86kg and has a nice black fingerboard.

There are no noticeable scratches, but there is a touch-up of paint (about 3mm) on the top of the body.
