This is the non aged VOS Artist Proof of the Collectors Choice #1 guitar produced for Melvyn Franks by the Gibson Custom Shop. Melvyn was the owner of the famous original Peter Green/Gary Moore owned and used 1959 Les Paul Standard after Gary Moore when Gibson began their Collectors Choice series beginning with this guitar. This is the very first pre-prototype guitar of the non aged VOS run and is in exactly the same condition as it was the day Melvyn received it from Gibson. Comes with its original case, all the case candy including the certificate of authenticity and the original shipping papers from Gibson to Melvyn, plus a letter of authenticity from Melvyn Franks himself.
