2002 Fender Vibro King Custom 1 of 20 Made Purple and Gold

Here's something you don't see every day!

Yep, a purple Fender amp. Purple isn't just for rare Marshalls any more!

Fender made 20 of these Vibro King Custom amps in 2002. This one is near mint - a hand-wired beauty that jumps right out at ya with gold hardware.

The amp is set up for success, running through three 10" speakers, like a tweed Bandmaster.

The left side of the control panel is what is really unique to the Vibro King. The controls are those found on Fender's outboard reverb unit. They operate that same tube-driven reverb circuit, completely built into the amp, giving you enhanced, vintage style reverb control right in the amp!

The rest of the controls are straight forward, common to other Fender amps. Oh - and you get tremolo too!

The amp runs strong and quiet and sounds so good, even without the outstanding reverb. You get full, rich, and warm clean tones and when you push the amp it breaks up very nicely.

This is a great collector's piece that, if you did take it on stage, would really cause a stir.

The original manual, schematic, price tag and other paperwork is included.

We will ship the amp in two boxes - one for the chassis and one for the cabinet. The transformers on the chassis require this for safe shipment. Other sellers don't necessarily do this as it is a lot of work. We do it because, if the box is dropped by UPS, the weight of the transformers can permanently damage the chassis and/or the cab. Assembly isn't difficult, but the chassis is heavy. If you aren't interested in assembling the amp on delivery, please don't make the purchase. We can and will help on the phone however.
