83 The Strat.
Dan Smith era, but designed by Gregg Wilson (head of Fender R&D) and Dan Armstrong.
Available in Red, White or Blue & a Walnut model.
Original S-1 style switching via 2 way tone knob.
9 different basic sounds.
Hotter X1 bridge pickup.
Heavy duty brass hardware.
This one shows signs of use / finish flaking (they all do that), but still plays & sounds great.
Some fret & fingerboard wear, but plays fine the way it sits.
Gold/brass hardware shows some wear.
All original with the exception of one backplate screw, though it is missing the vibrato bar.
Nut width is 1.6
.89 at the 1st fret, .92 at the 12th.
Weighs 9.8 lbs (reasonable for these, I’ve had 11 pounders !! )
Comes with the original heavy duty 4 latch hardshell.
