Description

Here is an Early Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop Relic Mary Kaye Stratocaster. These early examples feature the relic work of the master himself, Vince Cunetto, before Fender would decide they could do the relic work cheaper in house. The decision resulted in a cookie cutter relic job that had no where near the attention to detail and overall look of these early relics. The guitar features a thin Blonde Finish that is sunken into a Figured Ash Body, Deep Contoured 50s style Body, Large V Neck Profile Figured Maple Neck, Gold Hardware, Single Ply Pickguard, and Spaghetti Logo. The guitar has all the correct early Relic Stampings and a John Cruz signed neck to boot. Nice and Light weight at 7 1/2 pounds. 1st fret neck depth of .86" and 12th fret of 1". Included is the Original Tweed Case, Lots of Paperwork including the COA, Tremolo Arm, and Bridge Cover. A very attractive Early Custom Shop Relic.
