1965 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst Pre-CBS Spec Green Guard
Gorgeous early 1965 Fender Strat with plenty of great earlier and more desirable specs versus later '65 models. Feels more '64 than '65... This one is fairly clean with essentially no checking and just some light edge dings. The guitar plays easy and sounds excellent. Pickups are strong and balanced. Comes with hardshell case. Condition: Very clean and fully original guitar. Many pre-CBS specs including mint green pickguard, earlier style body finish with nail holes like 1964’s, L-series. March '65 neck date. The condition is beautiful. No checking! Seems like a guitar that was played a few years early on and put away. A few light finish chips and some finish wear on the neck. The case is possibly the original that it came with but more common with 1967 era.
