1961 Fender Princeton 6G2 Brownface

Here's an update about this amp--we've been mystified as to why we haven't sold it. . We thought probably because of the strange square visible through the grille cloth was scaring collectors off--well, after a bit of research by our amp tech, it seems that the first couple of these amps were made like that, Grille cloth screws and square are original, We have not raised the price since finding this out, so seize the moment-it's a great amp! I left the original description below for reference--

So, first you'll notice the square in the baffle behind the grille cloth--it baffled us too, so we opened it up The speaker cut-out is round on the inside, so whatever that square is, it's located between the front of the baffle and the grille cloth. Since the rest of the amp appears to be all original, we do not want to remove the grille cloth, and will leave that decision up to however buys it. The original handle is included. It is missing the footswitch however. Loaded with NOS tubes. Original cover. Sounds great. Previous owner was a smoker, so if you have a sensitive nose....
