Description

Fender Tweed case with gold lining from 1958-1959, suitable for a Precision Bass. It’s structurally in great condition including the leather ends; the lid stands vertically, and the latches still spring open. The tweed is intact but shows a fair amount of staining, as does the interior. I’m told that Naphtha can clean it up but I’ve never worked with that stuff so I’m selling as-is. As you may know, most Fender basses from the 50’s came in gig bags, so finding a tweed case that’s structurally sound and doesn’t resemble shag carpeting is exceedingly rare and desirable despite the staining. Domestic shipping is set at $200 in the lower 48, and International shipping is $500. Better hurry, I guarantee this won’t last long!
