The Traditional series offers the high quality of Made in Japan at an affordable price.
Alder body, slab-applied rosewood fingerboard, and transition logo are typical 60's specs.
When it was reproduced as a collection model in 2020, a basswood body was used, but this model has an alder body specification made in 2017.
With fret lines and no pickguard, the look is reminiscent of the bass used by Jaco Pastorius, who is synonymous with the fretless jazz bass,
The sunburst on the lower part of the pickguard has no reddish color, which shows the particularity of the pickguard-removed setup.
The unique tone of this fretless jazz bass is different from that of wood basses. If you turn down the volume and tone of the front PU and pick close to the bridge, you can enjoy a true jacopass sound.
This bass is also recommended for first-time fretless bass players!
