1983 Fender Elite Stratocaster Pewter
1983 Fender Elite in attractive pewter finish with chrome hardware. All original. Plays and sounds excellent! This strat has a signature for ( ) that can easily be buffed off. Has original case with many stickers.
Model Details: In 1983 the Elite was designed to represent a step forward. It incorporated the Freeflyte tremolo system. Other features included three Alnico II pickups, 1 volume and 2 tone control knobs, push button pickup selectors (instead of the usual selector blade), active MDX (mid-range) and TBX (high-range) electronics (making it battery operated, so to speak), and a flat 12″ fingerboard radius. The output jack was located on the side of the body instead of the top. Of more significance was the Elite’s introduction of the Biflex truss rod system that allows for concave or convex adjustments without reliance on string tension. Good condition
