Fender Custom Shop 2019 Vintage Custom 1962 Stratocaster NOS

This is the "Vintage Custom 1962 Stratocaster NOS" model from the Vintage Custom series, which was added to the lineup in 2018.

The Vintage Custom Series reproduces specifications that were adopted when the instrument was first released but were soon changed or rare specifications that were only found in the prototype stage, while also incorporating modern specs that take into account playability.

This is a reissue of a slab laminated maple fingerboard, which is said to have existed in very small numbers in 1962.

The "Time Capsule" combines an ultra-thin "Flash Coat Lacquer" lacquer finish with no final buffing and closet classic hardware.

The neck grip is a 63 Strat Style "C" shape with a 7.25-9.5R compound radius fingerboard and medium vintage frets.

The pickups are equipped with hand-wound "62/63 START" pickups signed "CG".

There is a small paint floating on the body top (near the cutaway on the 6th string side) and a small paint crack from the screw hole on the joint plate, but it is in very good condition with no dents or other damage.

The neck and truss rod are in good condition.
