Fender Custom Shop 2022 Limited Edition 1963 Telecaster Relic
This is a limited edition "'63 Telecaster Relic" model with Ocean Turquoise color, tortoiseshell pickguard, and matching head.
The rounded laminated rosewood fingerboard has a 1963 spec, and the paint peeling and fine weather checks have been reproduced by the relic process.
The neck is a slightly thick C-shape with a 9.5R fingerboard radius and 6105 Narrow Tall frets.
A hand-wound "63 TELE" pickup signed "VP" is installed, and it is equipped with a grease bucket tone to prevent excessive tone.
The saddle screw has been replaced.
There is a picking scratch on the top 6th string side that does not appear to be a relic.
The frets have a very shallow dent on the low position plain string, but there is not much wear on the rest of the fretboard.
