Fender Custom Shop 2023 Limited 1959 Stratocaster Heavy Relic Roasted Neck

The "1959 Stratocaster Heavy Relic Roasted Neck" is a re-order of the 2017 Limited model.

This limited edition model features a gold anodized pickguard and a roasted maple neck, and is finished in a wide faded 3-tone sunburst.

Based on a 1959 Stratocaster with a slab laminated fingerboard, the neck grip and the body back paint have been boldly stripped, and the fine weather checks, a dent on the body edge, and tarnished metal parts have been reproduced with a bold relic treatment to give the guitar the look of having been played for many years.

The '59 Esquire C-shape neck grip is thin in the low position and gradually thickens as it moves to the high position. The fingerboard is made of AAA grade rosewood with a 9.5R radius and jumbo frets for better playability.

The pickups are hand-wound "Texas Special" pickups signed "NG". "Vintage Mod Wiring #2”d with independent capacitor for the bridge position. (The bridge position has a shallow tone effect)

The frets are in very good condition with almost no signs of wear, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
