Description
Summary: The Bullet was first introduced as a line of "student" guitars to replace the outgoing Mustang and Musicmaster models. Two models were available: The "Bullet" & the "Bullet Deluxe". This Bullet is from the year 1981. The Bullet is similar in shape to the Telecaster. It has two single coil pickups, master volume/tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. Something very interesting about this guitar is that has a steel pickguard-bridge-tailpiece combination. This guitar is piece of history that would have a special place in any Fender collector’s stash.

Body: Single cutaway, Dakota Red gloss finish.

Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 21 frets, white dot inlays, 25.5” scale length, 1 5/8” nut width, skunk stripe, Telecaster style headstock.

Pickups/Hardware: Steel pickguard with the bridge and tailpiece attached, closed gear vintage style tuning keys, two single coil pickups, master volume/master tone controls, three-way pickup selector, four bolt neck plate.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The pickguard has a bit of lifting on the paint but nothing major. The back of the neck is clean and smooth, and the frets are in great shape.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Weight: 8.12 lbs.

Case: This guitar ships in the original hard-shell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
