This black panel Bassman has seen lots of use. It has also been recently maintained so it will perform for years to come.
Filter caps have been updated, a beneficial maintenance step. The circuit has seen a bunch of work, with all the caps having been swapped out.
The power transformer has been changed, replaced with a correct one from 1970. You may or may not know that, as long as a correct power transformer replacement is selected, there is no change to the tone of the amp. The same cannot be said for the output transformer, but the one here is original.
Tubes have been checked and are all good.
One knob is a replacement, not sure what era it is from.
The amp works great with no issues. Use this one shamelessly! Put it in your road rig as a main or a backup amp, Make it your amp mod platform or a training ground for amp repair and modification. This amp is your playground.
