A new acoustic guitar developed by Fender, a major brand of electric guitars!

This model combines a hollowbody with mahogany side backs and spruce tops, and a bolt-on neck that can be said to be a Fender, to achieve a comfortable acoustic & electric-like feel.

The heart of the sound is a unique acoustic engine developed in collaboration with Fishman.
The development team includes Tim Shaw of Fender, who was involved with Gibson pickups in the 1970s and 1980s. In addition to the humbucking pickups, there are three types of pickups: a piezo pickup and a pickup processed inside the body to create various sounds.

The controls are used as follows.
The selector switch can be used to select a simulated sound or switch between pickups.
The order is from the most front side to position 5 - 1. (Please refer to the table below)
Also, by turning the knob in the normal tone knob position, it works like a blender,
The system works like a blender, with the knob turned fully counterclockwise to produce the A sound, and the B sound blended by turning it clockwise from there.

A total of 10 different sounds can be selected,
You may think at first that there are so many that it is difficult to understand,
However, the number of switches and knobs is very small, so once you understand the basic settings, you can create sounds intuitively.

As for my impression when I actually held it,
It has a familiar neck that makes you think, "Oh, it's a Fender neck," and it feels very close to an electric guitar in terms of playing comfort.
However, since this product is tuned with acoustic guitar strings, it has a strange feeling that electric guitars do not have.
In addition to a wide range of sound makeup, this model is also designed to be easy to handle in the field, which explains why it is used by professional musicians.

The condition of the neck, wood, and electrical system has been inspected and adjusted by a professional acoustic guitar craftsman, and all parts are in excellent condition.
The neck has been straightened and tuned with no chatter or clogging. The string height at the 12th fret is optimally set at 1.7mm on the 6th string side and 1.5mm on the 1st string side.
