元祖オーバードライブ、OD-1のJRC4558D搭載品です！
もう少しで銀ネジから黒ネジ(サムスクリュー)に仕様変更される'80年頃に製造された個体です。オペアンプはJRC4558Dを搭載しています。豊かなミッドレンジを持つ、マイルドで粘りのあるサウンドですね。同じデュアル・オペアンプでも、NEC C4558C搭載品はローがもっと出ていてよりヘヴィーなサウンドを持っています。歪みの質感はナチュラルで、しっかりとしたエッジを持ったロック感溢れるドライブサウンドがつくれます。
ちなみに本機は1980年3月の製造になります。
